Hurricane Irene caused much commotions around here. The grocery stores were packed with shoppers on Friday night. I stocked up on some food too and even bought baked beans, haha. I stayed in on Saturday and watched movies played some board games did some writing and reading. By Sunday morning the "Hurricane" was downgraded to a tropical storm. My favorite quote on Sunday morning:
"Like many young women before her, Irene came to NYC hoping to be as big as she was back in Carolina, only to be ridiculed by the locals."
